When a new and exciting product enters the fashion world, it is a time to celebrate and share with the fashion community. That happened last week for Alenver's unique underwear collection. Alenver was featured in a Special Fashion Show promoted by Leah Kiss at the Catalina Hotel and Beach Club, South Beach. Gorgeous professional models from mc2 Model Management wowed the crowd and the evening was a huge success.
The first Special Fashion Show was held October 15th at the stylish and sophisticated environment of the Catalina Hotel and Beach Club, South Beach. The show featured Alenver's new and unique collection, and paved the way for future weekly fashion events held at different hot spots in Miami. The hot South Beach crowd attending raved about the new underwear concept, which uses unique colors including purple, khaki, pink, fuscia, and dark brown, in addition to the classic black and white, with contrasting bands of metallic gold and silver to show motivating messages on the wide elastic of underwear and bras. Current messages include money, bitch, die for 305, and fucker. Alenver's newest items to come out of production soon will feature angel and divine messages thus expanding their appeal to wider audiences with something different to say. The colors and designs look like jewels - allowing the wearer to make a fashion statement with their display. This concept has taken underwear from a purely functional wardrobe necessity, to a new level as underwear accessory. The products' owners say that just as individuals accessorize with a belt or gold chain, now they can accessorize just by showing the elastic from their jeans.
Unique to Alenver's collection is the surprise of the reversed waistline messages, allowing the wearer only, to see the true message in the mirror. The message reversal suggests that wearers can start their day in a specific mood and pick a pair of Alenver underwear to express it. Alternatively, wearers can pick their underwear as inspiration for their day. The wearer can make the choice to maintain the message as a personal self-motivation or to wear it to communicate their mood to others. At last week's fashion show, the room erupted as the models entered, and the crowd interpreted for themselves the money, bitch, and fucker messages displayed by the male and female models.
Models from the prestigious MC2 Model Management gave the show a sexy professional edge that caused a sensation when they walked in wearing Alenver. MC2 models' faces have been featured in such magazines as Vogue, Teen Vogue, Elle, W, Glamour, Marie Claire, and Numero, to name a few. Needless to say, MC2 is a worldwide phenomenon in modeling with offices in New York, Miami and Tel Aviv. MC2 was launched by Jen Luc Brunel after a decade's long reign at Karin Models in Paris and represents high fashion models in a boutique agency setting. This was just the setting at the Catalina Hotel and Beach Club event last week.
The sensational Alenver event was promoted by Leah Kiss, proclaimed “Queen of Miami Nights" and included her signature style in the location set up, the model agency selected and the guest list created. With her own successful career as a singer, Kiss has worked with some of the most prominent names in Miami's music and fashion industries. Now as Artistic Director / Event Planner for the Opium Group, Kiss has worked with well known designers including Roberto Cavalli, Gianfranco Ferre, Gianni Versace and La Perla. Kiss' hand in last week's fashion event culminated in an elegantly produced show that was captured in film by professional photographers and film crews.
In the after show celebrations, attendees were eager to know more about where they could find the new collection. Although starting as a product line available only on line at www.alenver.com, Alenver has since expanded to Europe, Asia, North America and the Caribbean islands through designer fashion stores, plus, Alenver's owners' report they will be coming soon to larger retail chains. In such close proximity to the models, the attendees could see that the new Alenver line features boxers, briefs and bikinis made from a mix of 95% pure cotton providing comfort, and 5% elastane - providing shape retention and fit. The combination results in a comfortable fit and sleek look.
Judging by the excitement caused in the late night hours after the Special South Beach Fashion Show, when the models and audience spilled out on to the street - the evening was an undisputed success. And, just as the models stopped traffic, Alenver is set to do the same in the fashion industry.
